Law enforcement and the judicial system take cyber crime very serious. The longest sentence ever handed down for committing a crime on eBay is 10 years.
In some cases, the crime is not directly related to eBay. For instance, our investigators have provided evidence and testified at trial for murder cases and kidnap cases.
We often get asked which law enforcement agencies we work with. The list is a global one and includes FBI, US Postal Inspectors, Interpol, Scotland Yard, US Secret Service and many more.

According to ebaY, NO crime is EVER related to ebaY.
IT is always some one else's fault.
More Kool-Aid Please!!!
LOL @ Bud! Yes, it is best to blame someone else rather than take responsibility after all, eBaY is "just a venue" anyway.
The funny part was all the bragging about working with Law-enforcement. Yeah, right. Sure. Whatever. That's why Law-enforcement has to wait so long for documentation whenever they (LE) request info. from eBay!! **roll eyes**
Now....where's the Kool-Aid being served? Will there be donuts too?
