Bank account linked to Paypal

Hi again.. basically I'm worried because Paypay pretty much has it in for me right now and my account is still limited (about a month and counting).  I have my bank account linked to it and of course can't unlink it so now Paypal has full access to all my funds in there.  Would my only option right now be to have the bank assign me a different account, or is there some way I can tell them never to go through with any request from Paypal to withdraw funds?

Speak frankly with your bank for their best advice on that facet.

File complaints with BBB of Silicon Valley, CA States AG, Nebraska States AG. to see if they will return your funds before the 180 days.
Some folks have reported success.

There is also an EFT proccess, but last time I heard, the links from PP to file were all dead ends or broken.

Good luck.

Actually I did contact everyone you mentioned there some time ago, except for the AG of Nebraska.. I only contacted California's AG because I wasn't sure that Nebraska's would really have any jurisdiction in the whole matter.

Still haven't heard back from Payfraud in regards to the BBB complaint, but I did receive a reply from the AG of California and attached was Paypal's standard canned response of how they want to activate my account again ASAP, lying about how they appreciate my business, blablabla...

This is the funny thing, though..  At first Paypal only wanted me to fax them a photo ID and contact info for any "suppliers" which I gave them both right away.  But now in the response attached with the AG's letter, they're telling me that I still haven't faxed them the receipts from what I was selling.  WTF!! That is the first time they ever even mentioned anything about receipts!  I've heard it said by different people before, but now I know they are just trying to use stall tactics as long as they can.  Anyways, how would they even know that the receipts are real in the first place?  The imbeciles that work there probably wouldn't even be able to tell.

They will want everything short of your DNA but will only tell you one or two things at a time so they can draw it out for a longer time period.

Expect to have to fax the same items numerous times- they often claim they lost them- as an excuse.

When you are all finished they will probably part ways with you but not until they have kept any money of yours that they might have frozen for 180 days.

Hang in there!!  There is life after Paypal!

I have seen more than one story about someone taping the docs together to form a continuous loop, and just letting the fax run and run and run.

It is very simple, they are giving you, and everyone the ivory tower auto-amail brush off, in hopes of wearing you down.

You are not alone.

Most likely, they collect interest off seized/frozen accounts, I mean I cannot imagine all that $$$ sitting there, can you? If that is true, than it would be to their advantage to play dumb.
