odd thing, I've seen a lot of conflicting info regarding this being bandied about at a few spots now on the USA forums, including what looked like recruitment efforts. One of the other things that stuck out was folks stating they never received word through "My Messages" leading them to believe they were phishing attempts. That notion was then apparently echoed by some ebaY employees, as well as spoof @ ebay dot com ID'ing the emails as such.

Wondering why there was never a very high visibility announcement? But then again, this is ebaY's S.O.P. as of late...
