They have absolutely zero security,all it takes is a stolen s.s.number and address to set up an account.

It happened to me,identity fraud.. and ebay, bill me later, paypal has done nothing about it.I uncovered myself with no help from ebay a money laundering scam,the false user of my stolen information; cb4moore4 "purchased"items from seller; trvl4fun4sure.. if you look closer several false users all connect to these users some with the same item # duplicated sold 4 days apart!!ex;seller trvl4fun4sure sold item#130720496818 jul-5-12 to usermscohen592012 then same exact item# sold to ihuntva jul-9..from there you can see 12 other fake users that connect together all buying and selling the same items,a clear money laundering scheme..bill me later sent me a letter reopening the account,"no fraudulent activity found".I have contacted the FTC and local police.bill me later's security team even tried to provide me with false information,wrong usernames,ect.DO NOT USE THEM!

  ^ Where you may note that a poster who knows states that since ebaY got rid of their Trust & Safety specialists quite some time ago, the fraud rings on ebaY are proliferating like never before.

Carroll Gardens Woman Suffers Heart Attack After Identity Stolen

The 76th Precinct is still searching for the individuals responsible

October 3, 2012

A Carroll Gardens woman had to be hospitalized after an unknown thief charged more than $2,300 to her bank account, according to a report filed at the 76th Precinct last month.

The victim's husband came to the local police headquarters on Monday, September 17 to report the fraudulent charges, said police. The 74-year-old Court St. resident stated that he had received a notice from Bill Me Later, a PayPal service, that $2,377.50 worth of purchases had been made at Walmart by his wife.

But upon inquiry, his wife, also 74, knew nothing of the items charged. The woman subsequently suffered a heart attack and had to be hospitalized, said police.
