eBay Adds Facebook Like Buttons to Listings

eBay is adding Facebook Like buttons to the top of listings so users can share specific eBay items on the social networking site, and the buttons are already beginning to appear in some categories.

...However, this violates eBay's own linking policy. On the policy page under "Other Links," it specifically states under the links not allowed: "Links to social networking websites, such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter."...

When I looked, now they have tweeter buttons too, down in the lower right of the upper ad body, under the item number/location details area.

Why do I get the feeling that hackers are going to LOVE this?!!!

Not to mention the very real and potential privacy issues in general for ebay members...
